Kinnara Real Estate Platform provides clarification regarding discussions surrounding its previous involvement with the Marina Bay City development in South Lombok and reiterates its focus as a real estate technology and advertising platform.
SINGAPORE – November 2025 – Kinnara Real Estate Platform and its founder, Adrian Campbell, have issued a statement clarifying their position regarding discussions connected to the company’s earlier involvement with the Marina Bay City development project in South Lombok, Indonesia.
The company confirmed that negotiations in previous years resulted in a buyout arrangement that concluded Kinnara’s role related to the project. Following the completion of the transaction, full control of the Marina Bay City development transferred to Lux Projects, which now oversees the project under the leadership of entrepreneur Jamie McIntyre.
According to Kinnara representatives, recent discussions circulating within certain industry and investor communities have prompted the company to restate its position and provide context regarding the earlier negotiations.
A representative familiar with the matter stated that the negotiations surrounding the buyout were part of a standard commercial process aimed at concluding Kinnara’s involvement in the project.
“Kinnara has always conducted its business operations with the intention of maintaining professional standards and transparency during commercial negotiations,” the representative said. “The company’s objective was simply to finalize its exit from the project through a structured buyout agreement.”
Kinnara further clarified that its operations are centered on technology solutions and digital marketing services for the real estate sector. The company states that it does not operate as a property developer and does not directly compete with large-scale real estate developments.
“Our focus has consistently been on building technology and advertising platforms that support real estate marketing and investor communication,” the representative added. “Large-scale property development has never been the core focus of Kinnara’s business model.”
The statement also addressed speculation surrounding the company’s activities following the completion of the Marina Bay City transaction. Company representatives indicated that Kinnara continues to concentrate on platform development and digital services within the real estate ecosystem.
Industry observers note that the Marina Bay City project has attracted significant international attention due to its scale and location. Developments of this size often involve multiple partners and phases, which can generate ongoing discussion within investor and property circles even after ownership transitions take place.
Kinnara stated that it remains focused on expanding its technology-driven services and maintaining professional relationships across the global real estate sector. The company noted that its current initiatives are aimed at supporting marketing, investor outreach, and property promotion through digital platforms.
